Warmer weather will be here before you know it — and so will the new 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Production is expected to start soon for the redesigned Silverado lineup, which promises an exciting new ZR2 trim, refreshed styling, and much more.
Beginning sometime this spring, the 2022 Silverado will roll off the assembly lines at GM plants in Fort Wayne, Indiana (as well as Oshawa, Ontario and Silao, Mexico) and make their way here to nearby Bloomington, Indiana, to be sold at Curry Auto Center.
As we all wait for the new Silverado, GM is has released the 2022 Silverado LT, which shares all its key features and specs with the 2021 model. Once the 2022 Silverado goes into production, the Silverado LT will be discontinued, so you can find the Silverado LT for sale at Curry Auto Center if you want a new Chevy truck now.
If you’re waiting to purchase the new Silverado, it’s sure to be worth the wait. The basic 2.7-liter turbo engine gets 20 percent more torque, and the Duramax® turbo-diesel option now boasts 13,000 pounds of towing capacity.
The 2022 Silverado also gets an interior update, including redesigned seats, a reshaped dash and console, and an optional 13.4-inch touch screen. It’ll also offer Google built-in technologies and revolutionary Super Cruise hands-free driving technology on the High Country trim.
